Façade Improvement Program
The New Castle Lower East Side Elm Street Business Façade Improvement Program is financed in part by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development. The program aims to support local business owners in enhancing their storefronts along the 300 block of East Washington Street. This area serves as the gateway to downtown New Castle, and revitalizing these façades will create a welcoming and vibrant entryway.
To date, we have successfully completed eight façade improvements, with one project nearing completion and another in the planning stages. Our goal is to collaborate with at least ten local businesses, ensuring a revitalized, safe, and exciting environment for both business owners and customers alike.
