The Elm Street Program celebrated the grand opening of the new East Side Grove Orchard & Garden with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This vibrant space features fruit trees, raised beds, a free library, and more.

The Elm Street Program has been designated as a 2025 Accredited Program by Main Street America for meeting rigorous performance standards.

Elm Street hosted a Pennsylvania Downtown Center (PDC) Update, attracting a large group of public and private sector leaders committed to revitalizing the City of New Castle.

Elm Street hosted the Lower East Side Clean-Up, where community members, in partnership with Tri-County Cleanways and Bible Way COGIC, worked diligently to remove trash and clean up the area. Pizza Joe’s generously provided pizzas.

East Side Grove has received the Main Street Matters grant for the planned Farrell Park renovation. The grant will fund a new inclusive playground, along with new parking, lighting, security features, chess and checkers tables, and a rain garden.
